FIRST ALERT ACTION DAY: Rain persists through afternoon, clears out in evening

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Desert Southwest will remain in a First Action Alert Day through Saturday afternoon.

The rain is expected to decrease as we work our way towards the evening and be cleared out of at least most of the region by 6 p.m. MST. Blythe and Quartzsite may see rainfall until 8 p.m. MST (7 p.m. PST).

Temperatures will also remain below average for the late-November window with highs barely sneaking into the 60s Saturday.

Sunday will hit the low-70s in the Imperial Valley while most of Yuma County can anticipate the high-60s at peak temperature.

Winds will remain in the moderate to below-average range this weekend and are expected to remain in the single digits across the Desert Southwest on Sunday.
