Winds gusts stay high and temperatures remain low

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The Desert Southwest is still feeling the effects of the storm that rolled through Saturday.

Wind gusts, primarily in the Imperial Valley have remained higher, with speeds registering in the 20 mph range.

Yuma County has not experienced as intense of conditions, but is still getting double-digit gusts. This trend will continue into Monday.

Temperatures peaked in the low-to-mid 70s Sunday, another trend that will stick in the region on Monday.

Sunday night, lows will sneak into the 50s and should kick back up past the 60°F threshold around 8:00 a.m. MST.
