Quick, drastic change in weather pattern anticipated during week
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Monday and Tuesday are set to see high temperates around 90°F, about eight to 10 degrees higher than the average for this time of the year. Then, the Desert Southwest will see a major shift in weather.
Overcast conditions are expected to take over the sky on Wednesday and remain throughout the rest of the week. As it currently stands, there's a chance of rain on Friday and Saturday.
Temperature highs in the region are going to drop over 10 degrees from Thursday to Friday, with highs for Friday set in the low-70s right now.
As for wind gusts through Tuesday evening, the only prominent traces of gusts are on Monday early afternoon in Yuma County where we can expect wind to pick up close to 20 mph.
