Bad pet drawing fundraiser raises thousands

Wisconsin (KYMA, KECY)- The Wisconsin Humane Society's newest fundraiser was asking for $15 donations for custom created drawings of pets and pet lovers answered with more than $12,000 in donations.

Due to the huge response the humane society received, they closed the fundraiser as they couldn't keep up with demands.

It's thanks to donations that the Wisconsin Humane Society say they're able to care for 40,000 animals every year.
