LASD holds dog-friendly Halloween party
LOS ANGELES (CBS, KYMA) - The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) hosted a pup-centered Halloween party Thursday, where their therapy dogs were decked out in adorable costumes.
Footage released by the LASD shows some of their therapy dog team dressed up as ketchup and mustard bottles, an In-N-Out employee, and a hamburger.
The department said the "Pups-n-Cups" party was hosted by its Personnel Administration Bureau and allowed department members to spend time with the costume-wearing pooches.
"The Sheriff's Department recognizes the importance of therapy dogs and the love, support, and comfort they provide for personnel and members of the public who may have experienced a recent trauma," they said. "Today these dogs brought plenty of smiles and a moment to relieve stress from daily duties."
