Tracking above-normal temperatures for the weekend
Daytime highs will stay in the 90s for this weekend, which is warmer than normal for this time of year. I am tracking slightly even warmer temperatures for late next week.
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Halloween is just 1 WEEK away! Hopefully, you have your costumes and decorations all ready to go.

Happy Friday! Temperatures reached back to the 90s this afternoon. Afternoons continue to remain warm, but our evenings are still nice and cool. Overnight lows will dip into the low 60s for Saturday morning.

A ridge of high pressure toward the north will keep our weather conditions warm and quiet, but our temperatures will trend above normal through the weekend.

We will have mostly clear skies and plenty of sunshine with us this weekend. However, daytime highs will be staying warm and in the 90s even through next week.
Sunday is also National Pumpkin Day, a great weekend to carve or paint a pumpkins!

We have a lot of fun Halloween and fall activities and events going on this weekend across the Desert Southwest. Take a look at our KYMA Events Page to see what is going on this weekend.

LOOKING AHEAD: Get ready, the Desert Southwest could see well-above-normal temperatures late next week. Notice on our temperature outlook we are now seeing dark reds and even maroon colors on this side of the country.
