Warm and clear conditions continue

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - A stretch of dry and calm weather continues for Yuma and Imperial Counties, with temperatures hovering right around normal, and even a few degrees warmer, heading into the weekend.

Highs through Friday will sit in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees under clear skies. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 50s and low 60s.

The National Weather Service says a ridge of high pressure will build in by early next week, keeping the region dry while bumping daytime highs into the low 90s by midweek.

Aside from a few high clouds Saturday night into Sunday, the skies will stay mostly sunny across the area.

Winds will remain light and variable, with no major systems expected over the next week.

It's a quiet stretch overall a warm, comfortable pattern as Yuma and Imperial County residents head deeper into fall.
