Tracking a warmer days ahead

We will have calmer winds and seasonable temperatures. Highs will warm back up to the 90s and above-normal this weekend.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Happy Thursday! We have calmer winds with us today and it will stay that way for the for the rest of the week.

Temperatures were seasonable this afternoon, and our evening will be cool and comfortable.

As a lower pressure system shifts more east it will take the cooler air and this will allow our temperatures to warm-up this weekend.

We will have lighter winds and plenty of sunshine for the rest of the week. Temperatures will trend around average levels through Thursday, and the 90s will return later this week and into the weekend.

Don't forget Bridget's Gift concert is at Cocopah Casino this Saturday night at 7 pm. Tickets are still available. And there are a ton of other events happening this weekend too, so make sure to take a look at our KYMA Events Page to see what else is going on this weekend.

LOOKING AHEAD: Our latest temperature outlook is showing dark oranges and reds on the map for the Desert Southwest, that indicate we will be having above normal temperatures in the days ahead.
