Tracking seasonable temperatures and breezy conditions by midweek

A lower pressure system will be making it's way, which will cool down our temperatures back to seasonable levels, but we will have breezier conditions for Wednesday.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - It's another afternoon with highs in the 90s, plus today we are seeing a few clouds, with a few sprinkles maybe reaching the ground.

Thankfully, we still have our cool nights to look forward to. This evening will be cool and comfortable weather with light winds. We will be staying party cloudy through tomorrow morning, with clearer skies late tomorrow morning.

A lower pressure system will be moving in, which will cool our temperatures to average for the next few days, but we will have stronger winds for Wednesday.

Winds will pick up starting Wednesday afternoon across the Desert Southwest. We will have winds coming from the west and north west with gusts between 20-35 MPH.

It will stay breezy through the night with lighter winds expected tomorrow.

There is a Wind Advisory issued for the Southwest corner of Imperial County at 5 a.m. Wednesday through 5 a.m. Thursday for strong west winds with gusts up to 50 MPH.

Lots of sunshine and dry conditions will continue throughout the week, with temperatures staying seasonable through Thursday. Then highs will warm back to the 90s later this week and into the weekend.

Don't forget the Pink Takeover Fundraiser for Bridget's Gift is at Wheezy's tomorrow from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. And then the Bridget's Gift concert is at Cocopah Casino this Saturday night at 7 pm. Tickets are still available.
