Cool and dry conditions continue with weekend warm up ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - If you've been enjoying the cooler fall weather, you're in luck as those mild conditions aren’t going anywhere just yet.

The National Weather Service says dry, tranquil weather will continue across Yuma and Imperial Counties through the weekend.

Highs will stay below normal, hovering in the upper 70s to low 80s during the afternoons, while overnight lows dip into the 50s and even the upper 40s in a few rural spots.

Light winds and clear skies are expected through Saturday, with humidity slowly dropping into the 15 to 30 percent range.

By the weekend, a weak ridge will help temperatures rebound closer to average, bringing back highs in the mid-80s.

No rain is in the forecast anytime soon, keeping the desert air dry and conditions calm across the lower Colorado River Valley.
