Clean-up crews in California remove wreckage from helicopter crash

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (NBC, KYMA) - Clean up crews were at Huntington Beach picking up the wreckage from Saturday's helicopter crash.

Five people were injured in the crash as the low flying helicopter lost control and spun down to the ground, chopping down palm trees in the process.

The helicopter crashed against a bridge near the beach and injured three people on the ground, with two more people injured people being pulled out of the chopper.

The helicopter was part of the "Cars N' Copters" event which was scheduled for Sunday.
