Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyers request low-security prison
(CNN, KYMA) - Lawyers for Sean "Diddy" Combs weighed-in Monday on where they hope their client will serve his prison sentence.
In a letter to the court, they asked the judge to recommend the Bureau of Prisons place the disgraced music mogul at a low-security federal correctional facility in Fort Dix, New Jersey.
The 55-year-old is currently being held at a detention center in Brooklyn.
Combs' legal team said in a low security facility, he would be able to address drug abuse issues and maximize family visitation along with rehab efforts.
Combs was found guilty earlier this year of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
He was sentenced last Friday to four years and two months in prison.
