Community leaders hold vigil for two detainees killed in ICE facility shooting in Dallas

DALLAS (NBC, KYMA) - Community leaders held a vigil Friday for the two detainees shot and killed at a ICE facility in Dallas.

The candlelight vigil was organized by the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) to honor Miguel Ángel García-Hernández and Norlan Guzman-Guentes, who were two of three detainees shot in the September 24 attack on the ICE facility.

Authorities say 29-year-old Joshua Jahn fired at the facility indiscriminately from a nearby rooftop. He was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The LULAC is calling for ICE and lawmakers to do more for the victims families.
