Dry and normal temps staying throughout week
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - A quiet stretch of weather is set to continue across Arizona and southeast California this week, with little to no rain in the forecast.
High pressure is gradually building over the region, keeping skies mostly clear and conditions dry.
Temperatures will slowly climb from near-normal values into slightly above-normal territory by late week. Highs across the lower deserts are expected to rise from the mid-90s on Tuesday to the upper 90s and near 100 degrees by Thursday and Friday.
By the weekend, a weak weather system will pass to the north, bringing breezier conditions and a slight dip in temperatures. However, the system is expected to stay too far north to deliver any rainfall.
Overnight conditions will remain comfortable with fair humidity recovery, while daytime relative humidity will trend lower, falling into the 15–25% range by the end of the week.
Winds will stay light and follow typical afternoon patterns, aside from some modest gusts late this week and into the weekend.
Overall, expect warm and dry conditions to persist, with little change until early next week
