Steve Nash joins Suns as Senior Advisor

Phoenix legend Steve Nash is returning to the Desert to advise the Suns

PHOENIX (KYMA) - Team owner Mat Ishbia announced Monday that two-time MVP Steve Nash is rejoining the organization as a Senior Advisor.

Nash spent eight seasons in Phoenix, becoming the Suns' all-time leader in assists and earning a place in their ring of honor.

After his playing days, he most recently coached the Brooklyn Nets from 2020 to 2022.

Ishbia says Nash will bring his "grit, toughness and winning mentality," which defined the organization in the past. 

Now, the hope is that he will help shape the team's future heading into the 2025-26 season after trading away NBA superstar Kevin Durant.
