Holtville beats Southwest in low scoring flag football contest

The Vikings edged out the Eagles 12-7 at Birger Field Wednesday night

HOLTVILLE, Calif. (KYMA) - Holtville High School narrowly beat Southwest High School 12-7 in a flag football contest Wednesday night at Birger Field.

The Eagles went up early, scoring a touchdown, but they eventually let up 12 unanswered points to the Vikings. The score wouldn't change after that.

Holtville's next game is on the road against Brawley next Monday at 7:00 p.m.

Southwest's next game is at home against Central at 7:30 p.m.
