Cooler than normal temperatures for the rest of the week
Tracking slightly cooler temperatures with highs in the mid and upper 90s for the rest of the week and through the weekend.
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Starting this evening, another round of breezy and windy conditions will impact the Imperial County area. Winds will be coming from the west with gusts between 20-30 MPH, which could also bring patching blowing dust through Wednesday night.
As for Yuma County, winds will stay pretty light for us with winds around 5-10 mph.
On Thursday, winds will be lighter in Imperial County, but could still have gusts up to 20 MPH.

Strongest winds will be in further west, where a Wind Advisory will go into effect from 6 p.m. this evening until 2 a.m. Thursday morning for the southwest corner of Imperial County.
There will be strong west winds with gusts between 40 and 50 MPH. Make sure to use caution if you're going that way and will be driving.

For our evening ahead, temperatures will still be warm, but we will have clear skies and dry conditions, which will be a nice evening to grab a pumpkin spice latte.
Overnight lows will eventually drop into the low 70s and even upper 60s by tomorrow morning.

Sunny skies and comfortable weather will persist for the rest of the week and through the weekend as daytime highs will trend slightly below normal and in the double-digits.
More clouds and warmer temperatures will return by next week.
