Fire crews respond to brush fire in Hollywood Hills

LOS ANGELES (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Fire crews responded to a brush fire in Hollywood Hills Tuesday evening.

The fire was first reported just before 7:00 p.m. Pacific on Sunset Plaza Drive.

Multiple units were dispatched to battle the blaze, which was surrounded on nearly all sides by luxury homes.

Within half an hour, officials said water drops from fire department helicopters were "significantly slowing" fire progress below the homes.

So far, no structures have been affected.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation and no injuries have been reported.
