A home in Colorado listed as the most expensive house for sale

(CBS, KYMA/KECY) - The most expensive house for sale right now in the United States is in Colorado.

At a whopping $300 million, Sotheby's lists "Little Lake Lodge" near Aspen as the most expensive house for sale in the country.

The Aspen Times says the home was built by a California billionaire couple who own the parent company of Fiji Water and Pom Wonderful.

The house is 27,000 square foot, and is on a 74-acre estate, and the property includes the four parcels of land, a private six-acre lake and 45-space parking lot.

In addition, the listing for the home states that the estimated annual property taxes for the new homeowner will be roughly $131,000.
