At least 21 injured following a school bus crash in Pennsylvania

BEAVER COUNTY, Pa. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - At least 20 people were injured following a school bus crash in Pennsylvania's Beaver County Saturday.

First responders were called to the scene at around 10:00 a.m. Eastern.

On board the bus was the Aliquippa Junior High football team heading to a game in Pine-Richland.

Of the 25 players, two coaches and bus driver, 21 people were taken to hospitals or trauma centers.

Aliquippa School District said one student was in critical condition and undergoing surgery.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
