CD7 candidate Daniel Butierez opens new campaign office in Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A candidate running to fill the seat one held by the late Congressman Raul Grijalva has officially opened the doors for a new campaign headquarters.

Daniel Butierez (R) celebrated the grand opening of his campaign office in Tucson last week, welcoming supporters from different counties.

40 constituents signed up on the spot to volunteer.

Butierez says the new office "belongs to the people," making it as a hub for community engagement throughout his campaign.

Last month, Butierez and his opponent, Democratic candidate Adelita Grijalva, won the Special Primary Election.

They will face off in the General Election, happening next month.
