Workers return to Midtown Manhattan building one week after shooting

NEW YORK CITY (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - New York City workers return to the Midtown Manhattan building at 345 Park Avenue one week after a shooting which killed four people.

There is now extra security both outside and inside the building.

Blackstone gave employees the option to return to the office or work remotely. However, the National Football League (NFL) asked employees to continue to work from home at least through the end of this week.

The memorial flowers outside the building have been removed.

According to investigators, the shooter, identified as 27-year-old Shane Tamura, was targeting the NFL Headquarters when he killed four people before turning the gun on himself.
