Comic-Con day two brings more energy, more costumes, more fun

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The excitement of Comic-Con 2025 continued into day two, with thousands of fans once again packing the San Diego Convention Center.

Cosplayers filled the halls, panels were in full swing, and exclusive merchandise was flying off the shelves. Whether fans came for superheroes, video games, collectibles, or just the high energy, there was something for everyone.

"I like seeing a lot of people walking around in costumes, I like going through the different exhibits, I like looking at the comics, it's all pretty cool it's like a mix of everything," said Aydan Pargal, attendee.

Some attendees were there for the programming, but others said it’s the atmosphere that keeps them coming back.

"It's the Super Bowl of nerdom, it's a ton of energy, inside outside the city, there's people all around, the energy's amazing and it's fun,” said Jay Acey, another attendee.

And even fans who chose not to dress up still felt immersed in the experience.

"It's still really cool to see everyone else, I mean just seeing people in the community I’ve seen some crazy cool costumes," said Daniel Ensandoost, another attendee.

For longtime fans, Comic-Con still delivers surprises.

"Imagine looking left and right and seeing something you've never seen before, I mean that's Comic Con," said Pargal.

Comic-Con 2025 runs through Sunday.
