Tropical Depression Chantal brings heavy rain to parts of North Carolina

LEE COUNTY, N.C. (CNN, KYMA/KECY) - What was once Tropical Storm Chantal has weakened, but it is still triggering heavy showers and thunderstorms in the central part of North Carolina.
Chantal was downgraded to a Tropical Depression, but it still dumped lots of rain as the outer bands of the storm moved inland.
Forecasters say rain will remain a problem and it may cause flooding.
Flood watches are in effect until Monday for two major cities, Fayetteville and Raleigh.
