HSI agents raids home in Arizona over the weekend
TEMPE, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents raided a home in Tempe over the weekend, which ended in arrests.
Cameras were on the scene Sunday as the agents investigated the home while neighbors shared surveillance video of an armored tactical vehicle pulling off the garage door, and a man and a woman walking out of the home with their hands raised.
A neighbor identified the man as 40-year-old Mehrzad Asadi Eidivand.
ICE would not confirm the arrests.
This all comes after news of another Iranian man who was arrested by ICE on May 31.
Court records revealed the man, Mehrad Asadi Eidivand, refused to eat while in custody at the Florence Detention Center.
Asadi Eidivand reportedly said the hunger strike was an effort to be released or have his case be heard by an immigration judge.
After nearly a week, the government asked for a court order to force feed him. Records show he then started eating again.
