‘Survivor’ Season 50 cast revealed
(CBS, KYMA/KECY) - CBS Mornings exclusively revealed the cast of the 50th season of "Survivor" Wednesday morning.
In traditional "Survivor" style, longtime host Jeff Probst read off the names just like at Tribal Council.
The first cast member announced, Jenna Lewis-Dougherty, appeared in the first season, which aired all the way back in May of 2000. Season 37 cast member and "The White Lotus" creator, writer and director Mike White will also return.
"We went from 200 on a list to 100 to 80 to 50 and then those last 26 were brutal cuts. They still are. There are so many people we could have put out there, but there's only so many people you can put on the show," Probst shared.
The cast will shoot in Fiji starting next month and the season will premiere in February.
