Gila Ridge High School soccer player signs letter of intent

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Gila Ridge Hawks girl's soccer player Chayton Barron has signed her letter of intent to continue playing at the next level.

Baron will be attending Cochise College in Arizona, where she will be studying nursing.

She plans to go into the medical field, and further go into the military.

After four years and four seasons player for the Hawks, Baron shares how it feels to be moving on to the next level.

"I felt extremely blessed, I always text my coach constantly like thank you for this offer, I am incredibly grateful and I’m just excited to see what comes," Barron said.

Barron would like to remind her now former teammates to never take anything for granted to and take advantage of every opportunity becuase you never know what can come next.
