Temperatures will continue to warm-up throughout the week

Ready or not, another round of triple-digits is on the way! I am tracking a big warm-up later this week, with highs in the low 100s.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - It's Taco Tuesday! We will have nice and cool temperatures with a chance of isolated and scattered showers through tonight. It will be a little breezy with winds between 10-15 MPH.

As a current lower pressure continues to exit out of the Desert Southwest it will allow drier conditions, clearer skies, and cooler than normal temps for now, but don't get too comfortable a big warm up is on the way.

Each day temperatures will be heating up, which will lead day daytime highs to the triple-digit mark by Friday. Saturday is expected to be the warmest day of the week as we will be trending in the low 100s.

So expect a warm and breezy Mother's Day! I am tracking increasing clouds, slightly cooler temps, and stronger winds going into early next week.
