Kofa baseball takes down Yuma 6-2 at home to close regular season

The Kings pulled away late to make their final push towards a potential postseason spot and earn a win over their crosstown rival

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Kofa baseball (11-10) took down Yuma (20-6-1) 6-2 in each side's regular season finale on Monday night.

The win also clinched a record above .500 for the Kings, who hoped to make one final push for a 6A Play-In spot.

As for the Criminals, the loss snaps an eight game win streak.

While Kofa waits to find out their playoff fate, Yuma will now gear up to host Cholla on Wednesday at home for the first round of the 4A Play-In.
