Former NFL kicker announces political run

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - A former NFL kicker is entering the political arena in Arizona.

Jay Feely has spent the last decade in the broadcast booth, but before that, he spent 14 years in the NFL, including four years with the Arizona Cardinals.

Feely will run for the U.S. House of Representatives in Arizona's Fifth Congressional District during the 2026 midterm election.

The district is currently represented by Republican Andy Biggs.
