Tracking stronger winds and cooler temperatures on the way

A weather disturbance will move in later this week, bringing breezy to locally windy conditions along with a cooldown.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Breezier conditions are expected this evening, mainly in Imperial County with gusts 20-25 MPH.

Lighter winds are expected for Thursday before gustier winds move in Friday and this weekend.

A weather disturbance will move through the region by this upcoming weekend, delivering breezy to locally windy conditions along with a cooling trend with temperatures falling below seasonal norms.

We may see some passing clouds through Friday, but dry conditions and lots of sunshine will still persist for the next several days.

Temperatures will cool into the low 80s and upper 70s by this weekend with stronger winds and dust for Saturday.
