President Trump signs executive order on ‘weak’ showerheads
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - President Donald Trump has signed an executive order rolling back legislation that would restrict water pressure.
President Barack Obama putting the legislation in place to limit the water flow of shower heads to around 2.5 gallons of water per minute.
President Trump then rolled back those standards during his first term, but President Joe Biden later reinstated them.
Trump called the standards overly restrictive for consumers and manufacturers.
In addition to shower heads, the president's executive order also applies to sin sinks and dishwashers.
