Senators hold meeting to discuss ending daylight savings time
(KYMA, KECY/ CBS) - Senators held a hearing on Thursday regarding whether the United States should continue with daylight savings time.
Some members noted that changing the clock twice a year has major impacts on the economy and public health, stating higher rates in heart attacks, strokes and car crashes.
Daylight savings begins in March and ends in October.
President Donald Trump was in favor of ending the time change.
