Adrik Vargas joined KYMA in March 2024 as a multimedia journalist covering news in his hometown of Yuma, Arizona, and the Imperial Valley.

He was born and raised in Yuma and graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. While there, he reported in Spanish for Cronkite Noticias, where he discovered his passion for creative storytelling and connecting with viewers through broadcast journalism.
