City of Calexico announces 117th Anniversary events

CALEXICO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - The City of Calexico announced events to be held during the week of its 117th anniversary.

A couple of events will include unveilings and the opening of a time capsule.

Events are as follows:

April 14 - Mural unveiling at Camarena Memorial Library at 5:30 p.m.
April 15 - Opening of Lego World Art Exhibit at Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center at 5:30 p.m.
April 16 -Proclamation of the City of Calexico at City Hall at 6:30 p.m.
April 17 - Time capsule opening at City Hall at 4 p.m.
