An adorable pup who is looking for a forever home.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) -  It’s time to meet our pet of the week. 

Meet JR!

JR is a 10 month old male American pit bull terrier who weighs 43 pounds and has a goofy personality.

JR prefers the company of others dogs, so much so that HSOY made him one of their test dogs. 

He is learning that he can trust humans as well as other dogs and he also walks great on a leash. 

All adoptions in March on dogs weighing 35 lbs. or more are only $17. It excludes puppies and specialty breeds.

HSOY is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
