Local authorities responds to crash at Maverik gas station

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Fire Department (YFD) and the Yuma Police Department (YPD) responded to a crash at the Maverik gas station on Gila Ridge Road.

The incident happened at around 7:00 p.m., with witnesses saying the vehicle came to a stop near the pumps. Fortunately, the driver made it out safely and no other injuries were reported.

Crews remained on scene for over an hour, assessing the situation and ensuring there were no further hazards.

Both YFD and YPD are still investigating the cause of the crash.
