Arizona men’s basketball finds out next opponent in Big 12 tournament

The Wildcats will get a chance for payback over the team who beat them near the end of the regular season

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Arizona men's basketball will get a chance for revenge against the team who beat them on the road back on Mar 8.

The Wildcats (20-11) will face Kansas (20-11) in the Big 12 tournament quarterfinal round.

Arizona lost 83-76 to the Jayhawks to close the regular season.

Following Kansas' win over UCF in the first round of the conference tournament, the Wildcats now can boost their tournament resume back with a win over the bracket's six seed.

Should Arizona advance, they will take on the winner of the Baylor-Texas Tech game tipping off at 4:00 p.m PST.

The Wildcats game will follow at 6:30 p.m from Kansas City, Mo.
