AMVets hosts fire clean-up, sets up GoFundMe

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The managers of a local American Veterans post will be hosting a clean up after a fire swept through their building last month.

Managers say the fire started in the refrigerator out back before the winds caused it to spread to the rest of the building.

The clean up is taking place Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. at their location on South Frontage Road and Avenue 9E.

The managers have also set up a GoFundMe page for possible donations for a new building.

They hope to be up and running again in three weeks, but need as much help and support at they can receive.
