Flagstaff hit by more than two-feet of snow

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Flagstaff was hit by a winter storm, which started on Friday, and officials say it's the most significiant winter storm so far this season.

More than two-feet of snow has fallen across Flagstaff, with higher totals seen in other areas of the state.

More snow is expected to fall when another storm system moves through in the middle of this week.

The heavy snow caused major problems on the roads as well, with parts of Interstate 40 (I-40) being shut down at times due to stalled vehicles.
