Yuma County Water Users’ Association delivers around 100 billions gallons of water every year

Around 100 billion gallons of water is sent to Yuma County Farmers every year.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Water Users' Association delivers water to around 50,000 acres locally.

They deliver to about 300 different parcels of farmland across Yuma County.

"Our whole objective is to deliver water to the farmlands, so we are responsible for operation maintenance for part of Imperial Dam, the All American Canal, and also all the canal and delivery system from the syphon all the way down to San Luis, Mexico," said Tom Davis, Manager for the association.

The association also diverts about 350,000 acre feet of water per year out of the Colorado River for local farmers.
