Passengers stuck in Baltimore airport due to power outage

BALTIMORE (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Passengers were stuck at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) on Monday as a power outage stymied airport operations.

BWI said the outage affected the main terminal and hourly parking garage, and was resolved by noon Eastern Time.

News reports said the outage was due to downed wires near the airport.

Video filmed by passenger Michael Sharp shows lights off and people lined up at check-in counters on Monday morning during the outage.
