Local construction company to improve intersection in San Luis, Arizona
SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - DPE Construction is set to work on an intersection in San Luis, Arizona this week.
According to the City of San Luis, work on Avenue F and San Luis Lane will begin on Wednesday, and DPE will "enhance traffic safety and flow by installing a new traffic signal along with road improvements at this busy intersection."
The City says message boards will be "strategically placed near the construction site to provide real-time updates on traffic conditions, changes, or disruptions" in order to "keep the community informed."
The City is asking drivers to see "reduced speed limits within the construction zones to ensure" the safety of both them and the construction workers," as well as to be "alert to signage" as the intersection "has school crossings."
In addition, the City is asking residents in the area to use "nearby streets as detours" and "to comply with posted speed limits and to remain vigilant for pedestrians in the area."
