Two vehicle crash near trailer park
UPDATE (10 A.M.) - Two girls were hit Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Yuma.
The crash happened on First Street between Avenue B and Avenue C around 7:30 a.m.
A pickup truck and a sedan veered off the road knocking down the two girls waiting at a bus stop.
Police say the girls were not seriously injured.
A wall at a mobile home park on First Street was also damaged.
Police are still investigating who was at fault.
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) is investigating a serious traffic accident Wednesday morning.
In a Facebook post, YPD says, "All directions of travel are closed between Avenues B and C on 1st Street" due to the accident.
YPD says that drivers should "avoid the area and use an alternate route," but also says that if drivers are traveling around the area, they are urging drivers to "use caution and watch for emergency personnel."
