California community attends “Meet in the Street Light Parade”

CASTRO VALLEY, Calif. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - People in Castro Valley kicked off the holiday season Saturday night with their "Meet in the Street Light Parade."

City vehicles strung up in Christmas lights, and people lined the downtown streets to watch the parade at night.

There was also musical performances and an appearance from Santa Claus.

If you couldn't tell by now, the holiday season has arrived.
