YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Union High School District (YUHSD) will offer healthy meals every school day and announced the qualifications for students to receive either free or reduced-price meals.

YUHSD said San Luis, Vista, and Yuma High School will offer breakfast and lunch meals at no cost to the students due to the Special Assistance Program and Community Eligibility Provision for school year 2023-2024.

Students at the listed schools can participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a household application, said YUHSD.

Cibola, Gila Ridge, Kofa, and Somerton High School will offer breakfast at no cost to the students due to a Special Assistance Program, Provision 2, and lunch will cost $4 at Cibola and Gila Ridge High School.

YUHSD said students can qualify for free or reduced-price meals, and reduced-price meals cost $0 for lunch for school year 2023-2024.

Kofa and Somerton High School lunch is provided at no cost to all students and to maintain this program, Free and Reduced-Price applications need to be filled out, said YUHSD.
