High temperatures expected across the Desert Southwest

KYMA

Triple digits and and breezy conditions will continue

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - High pressure will continue to influence the overall weather pattern throughout the forecast period.

High temperatures between 108-114 degrees are expected across the lower deserts through Monday. Dry and breezy conditions each afternoon will result in some elevated fire weather concerns.

Even hotter temperatures are expected from midweek onwards as high pressure strengthens over the region, with widespread areas of major to locally extreme heat risk.

Enough moisture moving into the southern half of Arizona early next week will offer some chances for isolated high-terrain storms.
