One person dead, three injured in plane crash in California

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A small plane crash has left one person dead and multiple injured in California.

The plane crashed down in a parking lot near an airport in Riverside County.

According to the fire department, there were four passengers on the plane at the time of the crash.

One person died at the scene, while three others suffered injuries that ranged from minor to serious.

The crash is being investigated by the National Transportation and Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
