Look ahead to this week’s Fourth of July events

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Take a look into two of the largest Fourth of July events happening here in Yuma County.

The City of Yuma is hosting the "Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular" on Tuesday and is free of charge.

The celebration will be at the Ray Kroc Sports Complex located at 1280 W. Desert Sun Drive in Yuma.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the fireworks show will be at 9 p.m.

There will be food and drink vendors, family-friendly activities, and many more.

The event will also be following the clear bag policy.

The City of San Luis will have its "Fourth of July Freedom Celebration" on Tuesday starting at 6 p.m.

The event will be at Joe Orduño Park located at 965 Park Ave in San Luis.

There will be live 80s, and 90s music and even Spanish rock at Joe Orduño Park, with free admission.

Guests will get to enjoy fireworks, food, snacks, and fun activities for the kids.

Make sure to check these Fourth of July events out with family and friends and remember to stay safe and not light up illegal fireworks.
