Ndiba, De Silva named to NJCAA All-American teams

AWC Freshman Alliance Ndiba named First Team NJCAA All-American, Sophomore Teresa De Silva added to Honorable Mention team

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV) - The accolades continue to find their way to the Arizona Western women's basketball program after a 30-3 season which resulted in the program's second appearance in the NJCAA DI National Tournament. The Lady Matadors reached the Elite 8 before falling to Tyler College.

Soon after, Arizona Western College Lady Matadors' women's basketball player Alliance Ndiba was named First-Team NJCAA All-American.

Sophomore guard Teresa Da Silva was named NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American.
